To build a future we start with a home

Approximately 80% of the world are living on less than $10 a day and 1.7 billion people are either homeless or lack adequate housing. The gap in income differentials and standards of living is widening and increasing this number. By providing much needed homes to people less fortunate and supplying jobs to locals we hope to close this gap and create security, stability, safety and a sense of community.

Our Story

One for One

Visie Properties director and Visie World Homes founder Warren Swanston is no amateur when it comes to residential development and understands the difficulties many people face when it comes to housing. He witnessed first-hand in his own family the real struggle to achieve home ownership. Warren has always been motivated by this and his early developments have represented affordable homes in quality locations.

Warren’s belief that everyone deserves a home to create stability, security and safety to encourage freedom and empowerment was not completely fulfilled through Visie Properties alone. Whilst trekking through Mexico, a chance encounter with a man from Chennai spoke of the hardship and severely poor living conditions people face on a daily basis in the city. 29% of the city’s population live in the slums of Chennai which equates to almost 3 million people living in unbearable conditions; women, children, men, the elderly all forced to live in these terrible conditions due to insufficient housing options. Inspired by the man’s story, Warren felt compelled to make an impact on the world by building and providing homes to those in need leveraging his global network and particular skill set.

By thinking big and accepting no limits we all have the power to make a difference. Through the one-for-one initiative created through Visie World Homes, Warren and the purchasers of his properties create a ripple effect that has a positive impact on the people involved to help shape futures.
